It’s the nations favourite food and on Thursday 6th June we are helping celebrate at Supper Club by eating … fish n’ chips!
National Fish & Chip Day is moving from its traditional Friday slot to Thursday in support of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings
On the same day, there will be a range of events around Spennymoor commemorating the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings. Beforehand, over at St Pauls Church there will be a service from 6pm. Afterwards Spennymoor Town Band will play in the park from 8:15pm. At approximately 9-9:15pm the D-Day ceremonial beacon lighting will take place in Jubilee Park.

Supper Club tickets £10
The ticket includes fish n’ chips, mushy peas, a cup of tea and buttered bread. If you have any dietary needs please let us know when booking. Please book and pay beforehand. It’s a bring your own alcoholic drinks event if you wish.
