Exercise class Star of the Week!
Every Monday afternoon, the chair-based class meets for laughter plus some gentle exercise led by a qualified instructor.
The class recently congratulated one of its regular attendees, Sandra, for losing 10% of her body weight through exercise and dieting.
Sandra explained that she needed a hip operation and was told that she would need to lose some weight by her doctor.
Sandra said “I couldn’t stand up before, but now I can stand and walk, although with some difficulty, thanks in large part to this group.”
“I will still keep going to the class after my operation, as it is a lovely sociable place where nobody judges you.”

If you are interested in joining the exercise group it meets 1:45 – 2:45 every Monday. Cost £3. After the class, refreshments and chat with friends. No need to book, just turn up.
